The following zones are embargoed areas:



All potential WOC2012 team members (runners, coaches, doctors, team leaders etc.) or any other person who could influence the results of the competitions by knowledge of the terrain, are not allowed to enter the embargoed areas.

It is permissible to pass through the embargoed areas using paved public roads marked with light red or yellow background (see also Bulletin 2, pages 12 & 13). No other roads may be used. The embargoed areas remain unchanged.

Area WOC sprint and 1st leg Swiss 5 days (Lausanne lake side) >
	Description of the embargoed area of Lausanne The terrains of the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) can be entered, but without any map are forbidden to running, with exception of the athletics track The rest of the published embargoed area is forbidden. It is permissible to use the road accessing Lausanne-Ouchy It is forbidden to participate in the road-running races "Lausanne-Marathon" and "20km de Lausanne".
