Informations about the Swiss 5 Days
Following remarks and questions hereby some explanations regarding the Swiss 5 Days.
- H10/D10: The start time for the categories H10 and D10 can be freely chosen (no fixed start time). It allows the parents to accompany theirs kids to the start before running the own race
- Public transport: The entry fee for the Swiss 5 Days includes the free use of the public transport system in and around Lausanne and the travel to the races (Swiss 5 Days and WOC). This card has a value of CHF 174.20 (adults) respectively CHF 106.80 (Kids, half-price ticket). This card can also be used in the evening for the move to the ceremonies and for touristic journeys.
- Card for accompanying people: For accompanying people not taking part in the Swiss 5 Days a transport card can be purchased for the special price of CHF 100.- (adults/price for kids to be announced). This can be bought at the event centre. The price for accompanying people for one single day (and/or special transports) will be published soon.
- Category sCOOL: The race category sCOOL is for schoolkids up to 16 years with little or no orienteering experience (participation as individual or team). The courses are very easy and are partly amended with supporting signage. The entry fee (entry on-site) is CHF 7.- (transport not included).
