• H10/D10: The start time for the categories H10 and D10 can be freely chosen (no fixed start time). It allows parents to accompany theirs children to the starting line before running their own race.

• Public transport for registered people: The entry fee for the Swiss 5 Days includes a card which allows the free use of the public transport system in and around Lausanne and the transfer to the competition venues (Swiss 5 Days and WOC). This card has a value of CHF 180.- (reduced price for children CHF 110.-). This card can also be used for any other travel purpose, such as the journey to the Event Center in Lausanne-Ouchy where the ceremonies and the animations take place. Attention: all transportation cards are nominative. The public transport staff may require the presentation of an ID.

• Public transport for accompanying people: For accompanying people (not registered for the Swiss 5 Days), a transport card can be purchased for the special price of CHF 100.- for adults and CHF 60.- for children (under 16 years old). The price for accompanying people for a single day are (children price): Leg 1 - CHF 5.- (CHF 5.-); Leg 2 - CHF 25.- (CHF 15.-); Leg 3 - CHF 30.- (CHF 20.-); Leg 4 - CHF 40.- (CHF 25.-); Leg 5 - CHF 5.- (CHF 5.-). The transport cards must be ordered before May 31st by sending an e-mail to transport@woc2012.ch (please specify the type of card, name, first name, birthday and home address of the cardholder). You will then receive a bill at home which must be paid in the next 10 days. All cards (once paid) can be collected at the Event Center in Lausanne during the WOC 2012. Exceptionally, you can also order the cards by sending a post mail (with all required information) to the organizing committee. All transportation cards are nominative. The public transport staff may require the presentation of an ID.

• Category sCOOL: The category sCOOL is for schoolkids (under 16 years old) with little or no orienteering experience (participation as individual or team). The races are very easy and partly amended with supporting signage. The entry fee (on-site only) is CHF 7.- (transport not included).
